My thought process in archery is calm and focused. My current focus is the only one I am concerned about. Everything else in my mind is empty. This is because I have forgotten all my previous arrows.

I raise my bow up to the target, and focus on the inner golden ring, which now has become my only goal. I pull the string back all the way until it has touched my chin and nose. This is the point where my elbow and arm have a formed a straight arrow towards my target. I adjust my bow for the sight (a part of the bow) to land on my goal.

I release the string, and I relax my arms. The arrow plunges into the target, but I ignore the score. I reach my quiver, from which I draw my next arrow.
