Afterschool practice It was a beautiful day in the spring of 2024. The school had just ended. Me and my friends stayed for the basketball club. The day was the day we are going to be awarded our jerseys. We headed toward the playground of Churchill Road Elementary School. Our coach Mr. Steven was waiting there with a package of our new jerseys. He had a list of names and called us one by one. After a few names, I heard my name called, and received jersey, No. 38. My favorite activities are different sports, robotics, drawing, and all things that are intellectually challenging.
My thought process in archery is calm and focused. My current focus is the only one I am concerned about. Everything else in my mind is empty. This is because I have forgotten all my previous arrows. Every Korman book takes the reader on an emotional rollercoaster, but guarantees a satisfactory ending. His stories take place in a variety of settings, from all over the world, but mainly he is famous for writing about relatable, everyday settings (e.g., schools) that turn into wonders and adventures. Out of the many great books by Korman, I would recommend the Mastermind Series, No More Dead Dogs, Unplugged, Son of a Mob, Notorious, and Slacker. He even wrote some of the books…
